PDK stands for
”
Porsche Doppel Kupplungen” which means it is a transmission that uses 2 clutches, one for the even gears and one for the odd gears. The advantage ofn the gearbox with two clutches is that the shifts are done without power interruption. Therefore, this means minimal loss in power and thus faster acceleration. While driving, 1 clutch is active which means that the other clutch has a next gear or a gear back already ready. This minimizes shift times and the losses in them. This benefits Porsche’s sporty handling.

This one is often massively disappointing financially, leaving you more or less with your back against the wall.
Fortunately, we do have many items lying around for your PDK gearbox so in almost all cases we can get you back on the road at competitive prices. We also handle the de/mounting of your gearbox, regardless of whether the engine needs to be lowered or not. With all the necessary tools and knowledge, we have been getting customers back on the road with satisfaction for years.
Of course our overhaul mechanics will work on your car with the utmost care, our modern workshop is fully equipped and the work is neat and clean. We will diagnose or disassemble your PDK transmission and go over the problems/damages after which we will contact you.
